The LVM GEO application, developed by AS "Latvijas valsts meži" (LVM), offers a comprehensive collection of maps and data layers within a single platform.

For forest management practitioners, the application facilitates the receipt of work assignments and access to associated geospatial information, streamlining operational workflows.

In real-time online mode, users can access the LVM forest map, orthophoto maps, infrared spectrum orthophotos, JS Baltija map, OpenStreetMap layers, terrain surface models, slope models, vegetation crown models, vegetation density models, ESRI satellite imagery, LĢIA Topographical map at 1:50,000 scale, as well as data on forest owners, VZD cadastral information, ZMNĪ melioration cadastre, LAD rural registers, and environmental protection zones and elevation contours from DAP.

Download options include the LVM forest maps at scales of 1:150,000, 1:75,000, and 1:35,000 covering the entire Latvian territory. For the visible on-screen area, maps at scales of 1:20,000 and 1:10,000 are available. Additionally, offline use is supported through automatic downloads of LVM tourist site data.

The LVM forest map visually distinguishes plots owned and managed by different forest operators using various colors for clarity.
